It is hard to believe that the second annual School of Dance with Sara just occurred. The 2017-2018 year went by so fast and the students were really excited to show off their routines that they have been working so hard to learn. For this year’s recital we took all of you parents and the rest of the family on a trip down memory lane as we “Dance through the Decades.” Ms. Sara picked this year’s recital theme, because she wanted to expose her students to some of the greatest singers and hits of all time, as well as learning about other styles of dance such as the Charleston and Disco and incorporating them into their ballet, tap and hip hop routines.
On the big day all of the dancers arrived excited to take the big stage. Both the new and returning students were eager to show there dances and their costumes to their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members alike.
When show time finally arrived, the dancers were ready for their time to shine. They excitedly wanted to watch the other dances from the wings. All of the dances took the stage with big smiles and danced with so much passion. You could see through all of the excitement that everyone loved to dance and were having so much fun. Everyone on the stage made Ms. Sara proud.
Now the dance season isn’t over yet. We still have two weeks of classes left before summer break. Make sure you all come ready to have some fun. And just remember ” When in doubt, dance it out.”
